Remote Cybersecurity Technical Writer

Job Summary

To support a leading federal systems integrator, the fully remote Technical Writer - Cybersecurity will develop and maintain technical documentation, including Technical Orders and cybersecurity policies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Technical Orders (TOs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), and Installation Plans (I-Plans)
• Create and edit cybersecurity policies, SOPs, and operational documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required (interim Secret acceptable)
• 2+ years of technical writing experience within cybersecurity, IT, or defense environments
• Hands-on experience developing Technical Orders (TOs/TCTOs)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technical infrastructure documentation
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred
