To support a diverse range of clients, the contract Remote Dari Farsi Pashto Interpreter will provide telephonic interpretation services, primarily in medical contexts, while working from home and setting their own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation services for various industries, including medical, insurance, and customer service
• Utilize an online portal or landline telephone to log on and off while managing high call volumes
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements to work in the United States, including maintaining a valid SSN or EIN and photo ID

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional interpreting experience, preferably in over-the-phone interpreting
• Must reside in the United States and meet all legal work requirements
• Completion of a language assessment is mandatory for all applicants
• Independent contractor status; ability to set a flexible work schedule
• Not available for applicants residing in New York or California
