Job Summary

To support a growing demand for language services, the contracted Remote Dari Interpreter will provide consecutive interpretation and adhere to client protocols while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation for various clients, including medical and legal sectors
• Follows all interpreter protocols, policies, and procedures related to confidentiality and ethics
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized knowledge relevant to client needs

Required qualifications

• Updated resume submitted in English at the time of application
• Completion of English Language Proficiency with a rating of 3 or higher on the ILR scale
• Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation session with a passing score
• Passing score on Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment
• Full background check and security screening, along with a signed commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
