Job Summary
A venture fund and private equity firm has an open position for a Remote Data Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Working on a 2-3 person Data Analytics team to build scalable and reliable data dashboards and processes
- Understanding key customer and internal needs and proposing data-driven solutions
- Writing clean and efficient code
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Python and/or R and use of statistical software with sql, pandas, and potentially tensorflow or pytorch to build models
- Experience with data mining, gathering, cleaning and ETL techniques, and warehousing
- Ability to preprocess structured and unstructured data as well as QA data quality
- Capable of building basic predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, if required
- Strong reporting and data visualization skills using tools like Mode, Heap, Tableau, or Amplitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
