Job Summary

A fashion retailer needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data and Analytics Senior Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design and develop distributed data processing pipelines in the Big Data ecosystem using Spark, Hive, Presto, etc.
  • Design real time data pipelines using Kafka with data formats such as Avro, JSON, Parquet, ORC

Required Skills:

  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python.
  • Experience in developing near real-time data processing solutions
