Job Summary
A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Architect.
Must be able to:
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to build data model and automate migration of data
- Architect, design and oversee the development of the database design, mapping, and migration processes
- Plan and design the processes for data migration to ensure data integrity and completeness and preserve security
Qualifications for this position include:
- 8+ years of data architect experience with data modeling, data integration, master and metadata management
- Experience with migration of mission critical databases across multiple database platforms
- Experience in traditional RDBMS data modelling defining the conceptual, logical, and physical data model
- Experience in NoSQL/graph database data modelling
- Define solution standards and best practices while providing hands-on oversight of technical delivery
- Experience guiding/mentoring junior developers
