Remote Data Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Remote Data Automation Engineer, who will design and implement data automation solutions using Microsoft Azure services, develop high-performing data pipelines, and support AI-driven applications, all while working remotely with potential quarterly travel to Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Azure services to develop and optimize data pipelines
• Research and implement AI/ML tools for intelligent applications and automated data processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to build data-driven solutions

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Experience designing ETL/data engineering solutions using Azure services
• Demonstrated experience in supporting production and development environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft database and business intelligence tools, including SQL Server and Power BI
