Remote Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing analytics team, the full-time Remote Data Engineer will design and automate data collection systems, manage internal data warehouses, and collaborate with Data Analysts to enhance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate deployment of a distributed system for collecting and processing log events from multiple sources
• Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines
• Contribute to architectural plans for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions

Required qualifications

• Experience in data modeling
• Proficiency in Airflow, S3, and DBT
• Experience with ETL (or ELT) processes
• Knowledge of Python (or Spark) and SQL
• Experience with Snowflake; familiarity with Kafka, Trino, and Iceberg is a plus
