Remote Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote HAM Implementation Data Engineer will design and implement analytics solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring data integrity and compliance while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver insightful reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow Platform Analytics reports and dashboards tailored to hardware asset management needs
- Implement data models and integrate external data sources to enhance analytics capabilities and maintain data quality standards
- Develop predictive analytics models and automated reporting to identify compliance risks and optimize hardware usage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field (or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or related certifications, or willingness to obtain
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in IT asset management
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Pro module and analytics toolsets
- Strong proficiency in data query languages such as SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
