Remote Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the implementation and administration of a modern data platform for federal clients, the full-time Remote Data Engineer will develop and maintain data solutions, build scalable data pipelines, and enhance data quality while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion workflows using PySpark and SQL
- Support enterprise Master Data Management initiatives and ensure data quality across multiple systems
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and develop datasets for analytics and dashboards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and supporting enterprise data solutions in cloud environments
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark with experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
