Job Summary

An online retailer is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, evaluate, deploy, and document data management and business intelligence systems
• Build secure, available, scalable, stable & cost-effective data solutions using data storage technologies
• Work with business customers in understanding the business requirements & implement solutions

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with & detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components
• Bachelors degree in software engineering or a relevant quantitative discipline
• 2+ years development experience in python or similar scripting language for automation
• 2+ years experience working with core AWS data and analytics services
• 3+ years of work experience with ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture with hundreds of terabytes of data
