Job Summary

A wholesale company is seeking a Remote Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Acting as senior developer in larger scrum team
  • Ensuring a consistent and coherent technical delivery of solutions
  • Participating in testing design and execution, peer code reviews, etc

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • >5 years of related technical experience
  • Experience with Cloud based analytic, data management and visualization technologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data management concepts as well as an outstanding command of the SQL standard
  • Knowledge and exposures to Azure SQL DataWarehouse or other cloud or on premises MPP data warehousing systems
  • Solid knowledge on how SQL server internal works and how to tune/optimize a query for faster access of data
