Job Summary

A software company is filling a position for a Remote Data Engineering Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Drive the tactical execution of the Data Roadmap
  • Be player and coach as you guide a team of data engineers to build and scale our data platform(s)
  • Hire great talents and mentor engineers to build a high performing engineering team

Required Skills:

  • Have at least 3+ years experience successfully managing teams of 4+ engineers
  • Experience growing and developing your team
  • You have strong database experience (PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc)
  • You have experience with big data tools such as Beam, Spark, Airflow along with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Have a strong understanding of agile methodologies
  • Experience working directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts
