Job Summary

An information technology company is seeking a Remote Data Engineering Technology Lead Manager in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing, building and launching new ETL/ELT processes that transform raw data into a format usable by downstream applications
  • Performing code review, providing valuable and actionable feedback to peers
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of data pipeline solutions that meet our product needs

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • 1 year of direct management experience
  • Experience managing an AWS environment utilizing server less event-driven services
  • Excellent knowledge on SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
  • Proficient in Python and Apache Spark
  • Familiar with Apache Airflow
