Job Summary
A healthcare technology development company is in need of a Remote Data Entry and Processing Certified Pharmacy Technician in New Providence.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Calculating prescription dosages, accepting proper insurance payments, and verifying patient insurance
- Translating prescriptions filled out by the prescriber and enter information in the patient’s profile
- Entering prescriptions, obtaining pharmacy orders, producing prescription labels, etc
Position Requirements Include:
- PTCB certification
- Registered with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1.5+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician within a mid-high volume pharmacy
- Proficient with a computer and Windows PC applications
- Familiar with general pharmacy terminology
