Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Remote Data Entry Examiner will enter data from Medical Necessity Review Forms and Clinical Quality Evaluator worksheets while maintaining production and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Enters data from MNR Forms and CQE worksheets, ensuring a minimum production level of 20 forms per hour with a quality rate above 98%
- Verifies member eligibility, checks patient and provider information, and inputs required data into the Integrated Health Care System (IHIS)
- Contacts providers to clarify missing or illegible information on MNR forms and completes daily production reports for supervision
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED certificate required
- 2 years of data entry experience with a minimum typing speed of 10,000 keystrokes per hour
- Working knowledge of computer keyboard and data entry systems
- Experience with eligibility verification and administrative support tasks
- Ability to work in a remote environment with a stable internet connection
