Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Remote Data Entry Examiner will enter data from Medical Necessity Review Forms and Clinical Quality Evaluator worksheets while maintaining production and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Enters and verifies data from MNR Forms and CQE worksheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines
- Conducts eligibility verification and processes patient records within the Integrated Health Care System (IHIS)
- Completes administrative duties including contacting providers for missing information and maintaining production reports
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED certificate required
- Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience with a typing speed of at least 10,000 keystrokes per hour
- Familiarity with Integrated Health Care System (IHIS) or similar software applications preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet connectivity
- Experience in a healthcare or claims processing setting is a plus
