Job Summary
An independent, nonprofit corporation has a current position open for a Remote Data Exploration Technologies Engineering Manager in El Segundo.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing technical and managerial leadership to develop, maintain, and apply organizational expertise
- Recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and leading technology experts and developers
- Developing and maintaining relationships with program offices in order to propose pathfinder projects
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Eight or more years of experience in a software engineering discipline
- Fluency in at least one programming language and one scripting language
- Extensive knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools, cloud data stores, and interactive notebooks
- Experience in microservice architecture patterns and cloud deployment
- Demonstrated initiative and excellent leadership skills
