Job Summary
A non-profit healthcare organization has an open position for a Remote Data Integrity Technician.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing remediation of duplicate medical record numbers, overlays and correction of demographic information in ProMedica EMR and registration systems
- Analyzing electronic patient records and other tools to determine if a duplication of MPI resides in the EMR
- Participating in collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders to continuously improve MPI practices and support a high integrity MPI
Position Requirements Include:
- Associates Degree in Health Information Management related field required. RHIT/RHIA Preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets and databases required. Competency in use of computer systems required
- Experience working with various EMR systems and Epic Identity experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize, analyze and solve problems effectively, demonstrating advanced critical thinking skills
