A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Data Lake Python Spark Developer in Boston.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing patterns and build data pipelines that ingest enterprise-wide data
  • Developing scalable and maintainable data pipelines
  • Delivering creative, cutting-edge, high-quality engineering solutions

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with transactional/relational data and SQL
  • 2-3 years of experience working with Big Data frameworks, preferably Apache Spark
  • 2-3 years of experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • 2-3 years of software development experience in either Python, C#, Scala, or Java
  • Experience developing scalable and supportable Enterprise Data Lake patterns
  • Experience working on Agile teams implementing DevOps practices
