Job Summary
A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Management Senior Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coaching and mentoring engineers across the engineering team to build a data culture
- Enabling data productivity by building out data services and a developer portal
- Writing technical specifications and efficient, high quality, well-tested code
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be pragmatic without compromising on software quality and standards
- 5+ years of experience in engineering especially data management, data lakes and data catalogs
- Experience in a cloud environment like AWS
- Familiarity with tools like Glue Catalog and Data Lake Formation
- Passionate about privacy, data lakes, data catalogs, metadata management, data security and cost optimization
- Experience building out data lakes and data catalogs
