Job Summary
A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Migration Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Understanding data migration requirements of the client
- Creating new migration scripts
- Troubleshooting customer issues and helping in resolving those.
Qualifications for this position include:
- 1+ year of experience of Programming/Scripting experience
- Proficiency with server side languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or Java
- 1+ year of experience of data transformation, data pipeline, data analytics
- Familiarity with relational database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle
- Proficiency with operating system such as Ubuntu, Linux
- Self motivated and passionate in learning and adopting new technologies
