Job Summary

A health and fitness company has a current position open for a Remote Data Platform Principal Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and enhancing new & existing pipelines
  • Designing and creating reusable ELT components and frameworks
  • Working closely with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists focused on delivering high-quality data

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 8+ years of strong software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience in big data products and distributed computing frameworks
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, Spark, Hive, Presto,
  • Experienced in converting prototype machine learning algorithms to production quality services
  • Efficient in implementing complex large data ELT pipelines on cloud-native infrastructure
