An ecommerce technology company is seeking a Remote Data Platform Site Reliability Engineering Manager.
Must be able to:
- Deploy the team towards data platform priorities, achieving measurable impact and outcomes
- Source and hire for positions in your team or organization
- Provide people and technical leadership within your team
Position Requirements Include:
- Strong programming fundamentals, ideally in a variety of languages (Java, Scala, Python, Go)
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand language
- Solid software backend engineer
- Experienced in building and maintaining systems at scale with reliability metrics as a default
- High-energy self-starter with experience and passion for data and big data scale processing
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform)
