Job Summary
An internet workforce company is in need of a Remote Data Science and Search Engineering Vice President in the Mountain View Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading a team of over 50 engineers
- Delivering company-changing models and running them reliably on production
- Generating ideas that inspire your team, your colleagues, and the company
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to work from home on Wednesdays
- 15+ years of job experience and at least 5 years of experience leading and developing teams of 30 or more
- Solid architecture skills that enable you to validate the decisions your engineering leaders make
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, information retrieval, data mining, statistics, NLP or related field
- Superior public speaking and interpersonal skills to make difficult concepts easy to understand and accessible
