Job Summary
A genealogy company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Science Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing a group of talented data scientists in both San Francisco and Lehi locations
- Developing, updating, and implementing AI solutions in Computer Vision and NLP areas at scale
- Building and growing the Data Science team through hiring, management, and mentorship
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields
- 7+ years in machine learning / computer vision / NLP/ deep learning/ software development
- 3+ years developing cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, Product, and Analytic teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain details of complex concepts
- Strong proficiency in machine learning and deep learning technologies
- Proven track record of completing multiple data science projects end-to-end
