A data science and consulting firm. has an open position for a Remote Data Science Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Partnering with cross-functional leaders to ensure shared goals that enable delivery of science at scale
- Enabling & managing a team of data scientists in delivering strategic objectives and work plans
- Influencing and partnering with SCORe team leaders to set the vision and future road map
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, analytics, data science or related discipline
- 6+ years querying data from relational databases using SQL
- 6+ years using R or Python to develop analytical solutions
- 6+ years with data wrangling, data cleaning and prep, dimensionality reduction
- Experience with managing, recruiting, training, developing, coaching, and/or inspiring highly technical associates
- 6+ years developing analytical solutions using advanced statistical methods and machine learning and optimization algorithms
