An IT service company is in need of a Remote Data Science Director in Jersey City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing the quality of work and provide guidance to data scientists working on client engagements
- Mentoring and coaching the US Data Science team
- Using deep technical expertise to manage data science heavy work-streams
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of Data Scientists
- 10+ yrs experience in delivering data science solutions / services
- Ability to work across multiple clients and projects
- Experience in Python programming to build advanced analytic models
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in application of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
- Ability to work with global teams Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Data Analytics or a related quantitative field
