Job Summary
A travel data company is filling a position for a Remote Data Science Engineering Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading, supporting, and inspiring the engineers, analysts, and scientists in your team
- Guiding architecture and delivery of major data infrastructure improvements
- Solving complex technical challenges while delivering incredible improvements to our data analysis
Qualifications for this position include:
- At least eight years total of general engineering experience, including three years of engineering management experience
- Experience managing and/or building data science teams with business impact
- Ability and willingness to act directly as a senior engineer and data scientist early on to kickstart growth
- Proven track record of building new, innovative & engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources
- Strong analytic & quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations &drive actions
- Proven ability to attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent
