Job Summary

A travel data company is filling a position for a Remote Data Science Engineering Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading, supporting, and inspiring the engineers, analysts, and scientists in your team
• Guiding architecture and delivery of major data infrastructure improvements
• Solving complex technical challenges while delivering incredible improvements to our data analysis

Qualifications for this position include:

• At least eight years total of general engineering experience, including three years of engineering management experience
• Experience managing and/or building data science teams with business impact
• Ability and willingness to act directly as a senior engineer and data scientist early on to kickstart growth
• Proven track record of building new, innovative & engaging customer experiences informed by customer data from various sources
• Strong analytic & quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations &drive actions
• Proven ability to attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent
