Job Summary
A software technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Science Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and other reporting tools to identify trends using data to drive the business to action
- Understanding and using the data warehouse and relational databases
- Leading a high-performing, high-throughput team of 3-5 talented data analysts and data scientists
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Proficient with data mining and visualization tools such Python, R, SAS, Java, Tableau, Power BI as well as querying languages (SQL, etc)
- Highly seasoned experience related Data Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience managing Data Science staff
- Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, scope projects, identify proper resources, prioritize tasks, realistically estimate work
