Remote Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Remote Data Scientist will apply Python, SQL, and applied statistics/ML to address product and risk questions while collaborating with engineers and analysts and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize Python and SQL to analyze data and develop models for product and risk assessment
• Collaborate with engineering and analytical teams to derive insights and support decision-making
• Present analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders effectively

Required qualifications

• Solid experience with Python and SQL
• Foundational knowledge of statistics, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis
• Exposure to applied machine learning techniques, such as using scikit-learn
• Experience in a fast-paced or start-up environment is a plus
• Familiarity with statistical risk modeling is advantageous
