Job Summary

A learning company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Scientist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyze, specify, document, communicate and validate business analytics requirements
  • Identify, provision, and structure data from internal, transactional systems
  • Support business analytic discovery, visualization, modeling, and reporting/presentation

Qualifications Include:

  • Participate in business partner-facing presentations and meetings as needed
  • Bachelors in Physics, Math, Statistics, Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in optimization/operations research projects, either academic or industrial
  • Fluency in SQL development
  • Strong coding skills in Python, R, or other scripting language
  • Strong knowledge of Google BigQuery
