Job Summary

A non-profit health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Data Scientist.

Must be able to:

  • Manage projects in their entirety and requires minimal direction and receive guidance when needed
  • Partner with senior team members to assess customer needs and define business questions and derive solutions
  • Identify and communicate roadblocks

Qualifications Include:

  • 3+ years related work experience in advanced analytics or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer science
  • Experience of 'Big Data' concepts and Spark, Presto, S3, NoSQL databases
  • Requires experience with Object oriented programming such as Python
  • 2+ years’ experience with advanced analytics e.g. predictive analytics models
  • Experience with DevOps and the Agile development process
