Job Summary
A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Scientist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data
- Write efficient SQL queries from scratch that blend data from dozens of sources in the right form
- Design research approaches to investigate trends, patterns, and relationships
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduate in Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other field
- Expertise in exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, and testing, and model development
- Ability to work efficiently at scale with large data sets
- Ability to handle multiple mission-critical projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
