Job Summary

A financial services company has a current position open for a Remote Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Owning the full lifecycle of models built for the Middle and Large Commercial organization
  • Developing assets to support our Middle and Large Commercial organization using Python and SQL
  • Writing modular Python code to ease the hand off to Data Engineers for deployment

Required Skills:

  • Subject matter expert in modeling data and analytical capabilities utilizing Python
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a data science or applied analytics role
  • Experience with gathering data from structured databases (i.e. Oracle, Hive, etc)
  • Master's in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Actuarial Science, or similar analytical field
