A money management company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Scientist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Collecting and refining data from various data sources
- Formulating business objectives for the model building purposes
- Developing, implementing, numerous experimental and proof of concept approaches for the task
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Master's or PhD degree in STEM or equivalent experience
- 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, finance, and/or IT
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem solving
- Strong modelling skills and proficiency in relational databases
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in Python programming
- Ability to manipulate large datasets in a SQL in cloud Service environment is a must
