Job Summary
A financial institution has an open position for a Remote Data Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing, designing, and/or leveraging advanced modeling approaches
- Using software design principles to develop production ready code
- Performing complex data discovery utilizing AI and machine learning
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience OR
- Master’s degree/equivalent in statistics, computer science, mathematics plus 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of software version control workflows and best practices: Git, Bitbucket, Github
- Experience in developing quantitative models using statistical
- Familiarity with optimization algorithms
- Understanding of cloud architecture of one of the major cloud vendors
