Job Summary

A biotechnology non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Enabling bulk data exports and following through to ensure high fidelity presentation of the company's data
• Troubleshooting uploading and downloading of data
• Querying databases, generating reports and assisting with visualization and statistical analysis of data

Required Skills:

• B.S. in computer science or computational science-related field and 6+ years of appropriate experience relative to this position
• Broad experience in the use of SQL programming of relational databases
• Experience using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Programming proficiency and experience with some of the relevant software tools
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize information
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
