Job Summary

A workers’ compensation healthcare administrator is seeking a Remote Data Scientist I.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
• Working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data
• Mining and analyzing data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of applications

Qualifications Include:

• Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development
• minimum of 1 year relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another related quantitative field
• Knowledge of Talend and HVR helpful, but not required
• Experience working with and creating data architectures
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
