Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Scientist II or III .
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building models that will be used in our analytics platform
- Working with the Data Science team in analyzing and uncovering patterns
- Rapidly prototyping statistical and quantitative analysis
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2-8 years demonstrated experience in applied mathematics, statistical and quantitative analysis, and machine learning
- Master's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or relevant field
- Ability to distill technical concepts into digestible information for non-technical audiences
- Python and SQL required
- Applied experience with frameworks such as H2O, Spark/MLlib, XGBoost, and scikit-learn
- Proven understanding in connecting predictive analytical projects to business outcomes
