A financial services and insurance agency has an open position for a Remote Data Scientist Lead in San Antonio.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Partnering with business leaders across the organization to assess business needs
  • Designing and building large and complex information sets
  • Leading and conducting advanced analytics leveraging predictive modeling

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 8 or more Years in predictive modeling, large data analysis and computer science.
  • Experience in stochastic modeling, machine learning, and other advanced mathematical techniques
  • Expert in at least one compiled language and one dynamic scripting language (Python, PERL, Ruby)
  • Strong track record of communicating results, insights, and technical solutions to Senior Executive Management (or equivalent)
