Job Summary
An information services company is in need of a Remote Data Specialist and Copy Editor in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Entering chart data into our proprietary chart creation software
- Proofreading and publishing charts applying our in-house style to ensure error-free, consistent charts
- Working independently after initial training and managing own queue of work
Skills and Requirements Include:
- A language and style expert with strong grammar/spelling/style skills
- A quick study and can learn new systems and house style with ease
- An independent worker who is comfortable working solo, but knows when to flag issues and ask questions
- A visual thinker or has prior experience with graphics/ data visualization, or working with databases and other number-heavy Excels
