Job Summary
A software and services company specializing in solutions for communications service providers has a current position open for a Remote Data Steward and Data Governance Analyst.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design strategies and lead efforts to comply with all relevant privacy and data protection laws
- Oversee the access and usage of the data set
- Create metadata repositories, data dictionaries, data lineage, Business Process Maps
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of technical knowledge and experience in data governance and data quality
- Experience with data management processes and tools and applications
- Experience with data classification, data labeling and data access control
- Strong understanding of data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA
- Working knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modeling
- Experience using agile project management tools such as Jira
