Job Summary
An IT company has an open position for a Remote Data Technology Operations Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Manage all third party data contracts - support questions on TOS, renewals, amendments, needs, etc
- Contribute to contract negotiations to ensure all company needs are addressed
- Manage an internal repository with data dictionaries and important details related to various sources
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience with GIS data (raster, vector, point) management best practices
- Experience using and managing geospatial data (vector & raster) from multiple collection sources
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to execute against tight deadlines
- Excellent Project Management skills as well as managing data deliveries, data production and data availability updates
- Understanding of contracts and the ability to distill ToS across the company
- Understanding of geospatial data processing levels and data quality/modality/coverage requirements against use cases
