A staffing agency that services the marketing, design, and creative industries needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Visualization Front End Engineer in New York.

Must be able to:

  • Implement data visualizations (charts, graphs, maps, cartograms)
  • Implement solutions for web and/or for broadcast using web technologies
  • Analyze data to understand business and market trends

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Recent experience with D3 - TopoJSON, GeoJSON
  • Experience in business intelligence, analysis, or related field
  • Experience acquiring and analyzing geospatial data for building maps
  • Familiar with using cloud services and APIs to store and analyze data
  • Experience implementing responsive designs using HTML and a CSS preprocessor (SASS, PostCSS, LESS)
  • Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting
