Job Summary
A technology company has an open position for a Remote Database Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing backup and recovery of databases
- Developing scripts and/or jobs to perform routine database administration tasks
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining processes and procedures for database administration
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Limited travel, based on Client and/or SCIC need (less than 15%)
- In-depth knowledge of Clusterware, Automated Storage Management
- In-depth knowledge of Real Application Clusters
- In-depth knowledge of Flash Recovery Area and DataGuard
- In-depth knowledge of Flashback and Recovery Manager
- In-depth knowledge of Transparent Application Failover
