Job Summary
An information technology consultancy is in need of a Remote Database Administrator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop, document, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for database administration
- Develop scripts and/or jobs to perform routine database administration tasks
- Develop scripts and/or jobs to perform routine database administration tasks
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of 5+ years as a PeopleSoft DBA
- Understanding of and adherence to Oracle’s Best-Practices for database administration and security
- Conceptual understanding of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and the Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture
- In-depth knowledge of administration or conceptual understanding of Oracle Database technologies
- In depth experience performing database tuning and performance analysis
