Job Summary

A software company is seeking a Remote Database Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Working with teams in the implementation, usage, and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases
• Helping to implement data standards, governance, processes, and policies across the company
• Ensuring accurate delivery of key performance indicators

Qualifications Include:

• 4+ years' experience managing and administering relational database
• Ability to support the CloudOps team in production in both managed platforms and self-hosted instances
• Ability to work with application developers to implement and support best practices
• Well versed in proper design and architecture within relational databases and PostgreSQL
• Confidence in being the front-line to diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues when required
• Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code and source-controlling reusable code
