Job Summary
A company providing integrated information technology solutions is seeking a Remote Database Administrator .
Must be able to:
- Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from test to mission-critical production systems
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
- Provide application teams technical information from the monitoring tools to assist in app side performance issues related to SQL
Position Requirements Include:
- 2-5 years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server, specifically AlwaysOn
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Microsoft Azure knowledge a plus
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
