Job Summary
A staffing firm is in need of a Remote Database Administrator Architect in the Los Angeles Area.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Planning, preparing, testing and performing database patches and upgrades
- Reviewing current DR, failover, & redundancy planning for MS SQL
- Managing multiple MS 2016, 2012,
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience managing multiple MS SQL 2016, 2012, and 2008 instances
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 5-8+ years of Database Administration/Design for MS SQL Server
- Experience in database upgrades
- Familiarity with release and change management principles and processes
- Familiarity with data warehousing technologies and methodologies, BI/ETL tools and OLAP
